MISSION - CPO promotes parent involvement with school, facilitates fund raising and encourages volunteerism.
OBJECTIVES -
• To promote parent and school communication
• To encourage parents to participate in social functions and volunteer programs of the school.
• To coordinate fund raising activities approved by the Holy Cross School Board.
• To coordinate events in the classrooms with the teachers.
MEETINGS –
The CPO Board will meet once a month during September – May and as needed during the summer months. The term lasts from May-April. Being on the CPO takes care of your volunteer hours for the entire school year!
EVENTS –
The CPO is responsible for coordinating the following events throughout the school year. Parents not on the CPO Board will also be called upon to assist with the events as necessary.
• Back to School Open House
• Marathon
• Catholic Schools Week
• Teacher Meals during Conferences
• Free Family Events
• Grandparents Day
• Other Fundraisers/Activities/Events as assigned
